Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 3+month Job Description Skill and Role Summary: We are to creating an over-arching, end-to-end customer journey for the order process flow (browse and checkout, order management thru to fulfillment) to elicit gaps and areas of opportunity. It will also help illuminate areas where there is limited or no visibility into key metrics, so that these can be prioritized and addressed. So I need someone with an ecommerce background, supply chain knowledge would be a bonus (its IBM Sterling for the OMS (order management system). The candidate must have good presentation skills and be comfortable facilitating a small group of SMEs. Main duties and responsibilities: The contractor will be reviewing existing system documentation, translating the process flows from the white board into the existing process flow template (visio). They will also be following up with various SMEs to chase down missing details, and get clarifications, etc. The deliverable is for VP and above, so attention to detail, and an ability to take low level detail bubble the information up to be consumable by executive level is important. (Obviously I would provide mentoring here, my point is that the person needs to be able to survive in the weeds, but not stay down in them, this is one of the reasons I am looking from someone more seasoned.)
