Must have Certification or Equivalent: IBM Certified Advanced Technical
Expert - AIX” and/or “Certified Systems Expert – AIX” (or clearly
demonstrable equivalent experience/knowledge)
*Preferences: (Optional)*
5 years of Cisco SAN fabric knowledge
*WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS*
Expert-level knowledge/experience with installation, administration,
tuning, performance and maintenance of enterprise AIX/Power architecture,
infrastructure and systems including LPARs, NIM, PowerVM, VIOS, HMC, LVM,
LPM, MPIO, VLAN, SVC, security and related enterprise-grade technology
knowledge necessary for highly available, redundant systems. Strong
working-knowledge of IBM enterprise storage technologies including SAN
Volume Controllers and DS-series disk systems is necessary.
