Seeking a mid-level Developer to work on a project migrating from Seibel to SalesForce.com. Requirements: · 3+ years of experience with Salesforce.com design and development. · 2+ years of experience and proficiency with the salesforce.com developer toolkit, including Apex, Test Classes, triggers, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Force.com IDE, and Migration Tool. · 2+ years of experience with the salesforce.com deployment process and source control. · A Salesforce.com 401 or 201 certified developer; is highly preferred. · Salesforce CPQ (Configure Price Quote) experience preferred *Rec 2* *The rec below is for the SSAS Developer at Citrix in Ft. Lauderdale. * *In addition to the below job description, the client is looking for:* *- MCSE certification* *- Experience building complex SSAS OLAP cubes at last role* *- Experience building large cubes dimensions 30 by 40 - 50* *- Experience w/ SQL Server 2012 w/ the above will be a slam dunk* *Lead SSAS Developer- Contract* Primary Duties / Responsibilities: · Design (functional and technical) and implement complex BI Solution for a specific technology set that includes extract, transform & load, integration with external systems, real time/batch etc. Responsible for designing the interfaces to/from Source and Destination Systems and working with the data / integration managers from other practice areas. · Provide technical leadership in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a specific Business Intelligence technology. Provide business intelligence subject matter expertise on workability of designs, architecture, and testing with regard to end user enablement and self-service. · Lead the effort to define and enhance business intelligence development standards. Identify new technologies that can be incorporated to improve the performance / usability. · Lead discussions with Business Analysts and/or other members of their technical team during requirements gathering and provide guidance on writing technical specifications. · Provide support to developers and testers providing support for ad hoc technical requests. Work with Technology Vendor to escalate and resolve any BI related technical issues. · Engage with internal support groups and provide recommendations to enable reliable and scalable operations for BI related initiatives. · Effectively communicate technical architecture needs and issues with management and client personnel of varying technical backgrounds. · Perform knowledge transfer to the support team down the road and participation in the key support initiatives for BI Implementation. Qualifications (include knowledge, skills, abilities, and related work experience) · Data warehouse design and development experience · Understand and develop best practices for design, development and deployment of SSAS cubes · Experience in design and development of complex SSAS cubes with calculated measures, many-to-many relationships, time intelligence and dynamic security · Experience with MDX scripting · Must have performance tuning experience on SSAS cubes as well as application/database/network/operating system. · Experience with the full Microsoft BI suite (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, BIDS) with past implementations in projects · Experience with SSAS Scale-out architecture preferred · Strong Understanding of process design, IT key controls, governance structures etc. · Excellent communication, presentation and customer service focus · Must demonstrate a professional approach to problem solving. This includes being able to anticipate problems, and to begin recommending solutions based on incomplete or missing data. · Multi-disciplined technical, managerial, and / or operational experience required. · Good leadership, excellent interpersonal and analytical skills Functional/Technical Requirements (include education, certifications, and training): · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience · Must have 4-6 years of demonstrated experience in development BI Solutions. · Hands on development experience in implementing large scale BI Projects using the Microsoft technology platform (SQL Server 2008R2 or 2012).
