*Here is the Job Description*: *Sr. Business Analyst/Data AnalystLocal to Chicago, IL only (F2F Required)12+ Months Contract* *Job Description* The Senior Business Analyst/Data Analyst will work alongside business and technical Subject Matter Experts (SME) to gather, analyze, and document member data including business rules, transformation rules, and data value ranges. The successful BA will obtain knowledge of applications used in data warehouses and work with the Project Manager and implementation teams to ensure data transformation of business rules are properly applied in new data integration solutions. *Technical Skills* Very strong technical skills with the following experience preferred: Data analysis including determination of data element value set Extracting Transform and Load (ETL) tools and processes C#- ability to read and understand Defining a test plan *Duties and Responsibilities* Document business rules associated with current data transformation process for member data; this includes researching existing documentation and detailing process steps from SME Analyze documents and interview technical SMEs to produce data transformation requirements Gather, evaluate, and consolidate data and information from multiple sources Collaboration and communication across a broad range of business and technical users, from senior leadership to staff Understand current systems to help affect process changes for better solutions Analyze use and impact of existing data transformation rule set; classify rules to allow easy identification of opportunities to streamline transformation process and business rule set Assist business and technical SME to apply business rules to new Enterprise ETL solutions and ensure rules are properly applied to meet business requirements Provide support for Enterprise Data Warehouse team to evaluate impact from upstream changes to transformation rules, and identify impacted areas in existing warehouse functions *Knowledge and Abilities*: Ability to read and understand data model diagrams Appreciation of data transformation rules and how they impact data models *Best Regards,* Sam Nelson Resource Development Manager Consulting Knights Inc. 100 Overlook Center 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
