This is a 2+ year project in Albany, NY.
They must be true Business Analysts and have worked in the healthcare
environment.
They must have either some OBIEE experience or other BI experience.
We looking for Business Analysts who can take initiative, are
self-motivated, are problem solvers, can work independently, who are
critical thinkers, have drive and can take a lead role.***Client will
conduct Skype interviews and writing sample tests
Mandatory Requirements:
We are looking for 2-3 Sr. Business Analysts who have worked in an Oracle
environment and have some Business Intelligence experience. They must have
at least 6 years overall BA experience. This experience must include the
following:
o Oracle 10g/11g database business and systems analysis, design, testing
and maintenance including requirements gathering (ie,
JAD sessions,client interviews, focus groups) and
development.
o end user documentation development (ie, business requirements
documents, use cases, flow charts, report mock-ups, swim lane diagrams,
prototypes, screen designs)
o quality assurance testing (including content and load testing) and
development of user acceptance documents.
o Business Intelligence tools and data analytics background and an in
depth understanding of how to design and create BI applications, and
reporting solutions.
o project management tools, delegating assignments, and tracking project
status and project management software such Microsoft Word, Excel and
Access 2000, Project Manager, Visual FoxPro, and Visual Basic.
Three (3) years demonstrated hands-on experience
o developing end user training materials:
Bachelors degree in information science, computer science, mathematics,
public/business administration
o Strong analytics and communications background (e.g., math, statistics,
quantitative methods, and verbal and writing proficiency)
o Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
o Effective communication skills and the ability to interact well with
colleagues
o Strong Business Intelligence tools and data analytics background and an
in-depth understanding of how to design and create BI applications, and
health care business intelligence reporting solutions.
Desirable Qualifications:
Exposure to data modeling for data warehouse star, snowflake schema designs
Exposure to data modeling/ETL design
