Must be EAD, GC, Citizen - $40hr MAX RATE Storage Administrator Duration: 12 months Location: Champaign, IL Role Overview Seeking a STORAGE Administrator (not System Admin or primarily Backup Admin) having expertise on high end storage frames, SAN and the storage management software. They should also be well versed with ECC and backup software. Skilled professional with 3-5 years of experience in doing the administration of Storage/SAN and backup environments. Bachelors degree Required 3 years of hands on storage/san and backup administration. Should have experince on working with EMC, HP, Hitachi, Cisco, HP DP products Storage and Backup Administration in a 24x7 production environment which includes but is not limited to storage provisioning hardware and software installation, configuration and management, backup system setup and maintenance •Detailed planning, architecting a performance intensive storage layout and administering them •Administering the Data Collection Policies of the Managed Objects discovered in ECC, Orion Solarwinds, SMC •Managing the Alerts and Notifications (This includes setting up the appropriate thresholds that are relevant to Amdocs and responding to any alert generated according to current policies) •Monitoring the reports created in StorageScope •Monitoring the performance of assets through WLA and addressing any identified issues •ECC account administration. •Working in on-call and rotation to support production •Documentation and meeting the ITIL standards •Should be able to handle and manage the backups and restores using the Data Protector Requirements Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
