Implement storage solution management strategies. Perform 3rd level Storage Administration. Required Skills: 10+ years of proven and progressive storage enterprise experience. Strong knowledge of EMC, HDS, IBM SVC and Cisco Fiber Channel Network Attached Storage (NAS) technologies. Working knowledge of networks. Working knowledge of storage certification and testing procedures. SAN Management. Deep understanding of industry leading NAS storage products. Must be able to implement and test new functions and solutions as well as provide 3rd level on call support This person will be on customer site full time and will work out of the Fairfield, CA area. Project Responsibilities: Performs product management duties over a sector of technology products or services or assigned to high profile products or services. Oversee and manage the continuous product lifecycle from research, planning and implementation to retirement. Introduce new innovative solutions that enhance the existing capabilities of the product(s) or service(s). Develop methods of automation and optimization. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance with broad scope and high complexity. Job Functions: Work in a team environment to provide daily administration, support and management of a large, complex Storage Area Network and NAS environment. Components include: EMC, IBM SVC, HDS, Cisco Fiber Channel Evaluate, test, design and integrate new storage technologies and processes to meet changing business needs. Provide recommendations for future capacity growth.
