I have the following position open. Please let me know your thoughts. 3 references required. *Candidates should have at least 84 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:* - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with major or minor in Computer Science or related field. Proof of degree is to be included with Form 2 submission. - Experience architecting technical solutions utilizing Oracle relational database technologies. Experience should reflect candidate’s ability to provision appropriate Oracle options, features, configurations, and tools to meet needs of computerized applications. Specific areas of experience are expected to include (but are not limited to): Database Instance & Multi-Schema configurations, Security, High Availability/Disaster Recovery features (RAC, Data Guard), Backup/Recovery (RMAN, Flashback), Disk configurations (including ASM, partitioning, raw filesystems), Oracle Enterprise Mgr/Grid Control, Oracle Network setup including Dedicated and Shared server configurations. - Experience participating in project system development life cycle activities to collect and organize data and database infrastructure requirements including data modeling (logical and physical), database design, hardware/software, high availability/disaster recovery, and post implementation monitoring and troubleshooting. - Demonstrated experience as database administrator of Oracle Relational databases utilizing software releases 9, 10, 11, and/or 12. Experience must include but not limited to performance of the following: software installation, database instance creation, schema design (data modeling) and creation (DDL), tablespace management, backup and recovery, data management utilities (data pump, sql loader, etc.), sql tuning skills, and SQL/Pl-SQL skills. - Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, and utilizing the Oracle Enterprise Manager product (versions 10, 11, and/or 12) to support the administration and monitoring of Oracle databases and overall Oracle infrastructure. - Demonstrated experience working in HP-Unix. Experience should include a solid working knowledge of operating system principles, the ability to understand and work with system/server administration staff on database and application-related issues, and strong knowledge of shell-scripting techniques to support automation of database tasks. - Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle interfaces for computer applications utilizing Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or higher. - Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle interfaces for computer applications utilizing (Accenture) Foundation for Cooperative Processing. - Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle interfaces for computer applications utilizing (Informatica) Identity Resolution Search Serve. - Demonstrated data processing experience working in public/government sector IT applications dealing with the delivery of government assistance or entitlements.
