Job Description:.Net Developer/Oracle
Location : Austin,TX
Duration : 3 Months +
The primary goal of these resources is to work on the Client Trust Fund
(CTF) application as .NET and Oracle application developers. The system
currently in development by HHSC Enterprise State staff (when complete)
will replace the current system and these positions will be to provide
additional development staff for known enhancements, performance
improvements and system defect resolution. More details of the application
use and intent can be explained during the interview process. The
on-boarding of these three resources will be split across 90 days to allow
for knowledge transfer and transitional set-up.
The services to be provided include, but are not limited to the following:
A. Assist with production and documentation of the deliverables.
B. Perform full scope of development, monitoring, and administrative
tasks related to the creation of a .Net/Oracle Web-based application.
C. Work in integrated team developing software in a set of development
environments.
D. Duties will involve actions related to all parts of the
application's lifecycle (development, testing, implementation, maintenance,
and limited customer support).
E. Transfer knowledge to transfer to all intermediate/junior level
development team members.

II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements: YearsSkills/Experience6Application
development experience involving enterprise-level IT solutions. 4Strong Web
Development Skills, including: C#, ASP.NET, LINQ, AJAX, jQuery, JSON,
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (inclusive). 4Experience and skills in the areas
of troubleshooting, application and database performance tuning and problem
solving. 4Experience performing rigorous testing including coordination
with technical support staff for integration testing to ensure quality
products before implementation or distribution. 4Experience producing clear
and concise documentation (technical & customer).3 HTTP server
configuration: IIS 7 and Database Programming in PL/SQL3Experience with
Visual Studio, Toad for Oracle, Oracle SQL Developer, or equivalent.
Experience Visual Source Safe, SourceGear Vault, or equivalent and Visual
Unit Testing or equivalent 3Knowledge of writing stored procedures,
triggers, functions and other database objects in Oracle 10g and
11.xxx. 2Working
knowledge of the requirements and standards associated 508 Accessibility
and/or JAWS compliance techniques1 Software engineering skills including,
Test-Driven Development and Object-Oriented Programming.
Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern a plus. STRONG Ability to
work in a team environment with minimum guidance and nominal supervision.
STRONGWillingness to work flexible hours.
Preferences:YearsSkills/Experience Experience building
applications that meet the accessibility standards set forth by the "508
compliance" regulations which can pass testing through the "JAWS"
accessibility tool. Experience in the delivery of applications that are of
a financial or accounting nature with knowledge of the transaction
processes related to accounting practices and regulations. Skilled in the
user interface and sound ease of use practices related to screen workflow
and practical user expectations for application - business performance.
Job Requirements:
Software engineering skills including, Test-Driven Development and

pattern a plus.
