*Job Description*:
*Technical skills (Must):*
* 8+ years hands on core Java development
* 3+ years hands on Websphere Portal 7.0 or 8.0 Portlet development
* 5+ years hands on experience JSF, Struts frameworks in webdevelopment.
* 5+ years hands on experience in Javascript, Jquery, JSP and related
webtechnologies.
* 3+ years hands on experience in Spring framework (MVC)
* Experience with software development tools - Spring IDE, Subversion ,
Maven, Tomcat
* 3+ years hands on experience in Spring Integration
*Technical skills (Plus):*
* 1+ years hands on experience in Spring Security or JAAS
* Hands on experience with PL/SQL and Oracle 11g
* Hands on experience in Hudson and Sonar setup
* Experience and understanding of Apache Velocity
*Other Skills, and Experties:*
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
* Experience in Java multithreading optimization
* Ability to work independently with minimum guidance in a fast paced
environment.
* Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to take initiatives
and solve problems.
* Ability to understand business requirements, provide an accurate estimate
and deliver quality work within estimates
* Ability to liaise and work with different IT and business teams.
* Knowledge of software development life cycle and industry practices.
* Experience of working in an Agile environment is beneficial.
* Good team player with excellent communication skills interfacing various
onsite and offsite teams.
* Financial industry knowledge is required.
* Experience of Regulatory change project is beneficial.
* Anticipate/forecast critical points and make adjustments to deliver to
commitments.
* Effective documentation capabilities.
* Assimilate facts, evaluate perception and apply critical reasoning and
make recommendations to arrive at optimal outcome.
* Intermediary process flow and business analysis capabilities.
* Required: French Translation; Preferable: Speaking capability as well.
