*Need :Sr. Automation Tester (2) Location:Chelsea, NYDuration:6 months Contract to Hire * *EAD GC OR USC* *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Write and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on specifications and requirements for technically complex software projects. Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium test automation tool Execute manual and automated tests and identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during the testing process. Enter, review and update software defects in defect tracking database. Perform other duties as assigned. *Qualifications / Requirements:* *BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience*). 7+ years of software quality assurance experience. Experience developing software tests for functional, performance and regression testing for complex applications that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements. In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications. Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies. Must have strong experience working in an Agile SCRUM development environment. *2+ years hands* on experience with *Selenium test automation tool writing complex automation scripts* *1+ years hands on experience in coding using Java, Ruby,* etc. Hands on Experience with *Java, Ruby, Ruby Gems, RSpec, Jenkins, Puppet, Selenium Webdriver and/or Selenium Grid* is a big plus Experience with testing Mobile Apps and with Mobile Automation Tools like Perfecto Mobile or Device Anywhere desired. Experience testing web services also a plus Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
