*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * Job title: Oracle Database Analyst Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 3 Months+ Direct Client Position Client: State of OH in person Interview This posting for Product Specialist is for an individual with strengths in ORACLE that will be the main data analysts for data conversions from legacy system to new enterprise system. This person will be responsible for data validation, verification, and mapping between the two systems. Experience of the full software lifecycle from design to release Previous development exposure/role preferable Ability to utilize Oracle Server with respect to complex querying, table creation and manipulation and a proven track record especially with a view to importing and reconciling data according to a series of complex business rules Test data identification & creation Assist in the creation of test cases for other Testers and liaise with users and BA's to achieve this Work closely with Development manager and BA manager to ensure optimum use of department resource and project throughput Review test case output and validate where required for other Testers Ensures uniform test coverage throughout the QA of a particular feature to avoid too many late bugs and ensure completeness of QA cycle Ability to perform on-the-fly tests when needed without the aid of scripts (and script after the event in these circumstances) Establishes benchmarks for program efficiency in operating and response times where possible. Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Expert experience as a data analysis on an ORACLE platform Required 5 Years Expert experience with advanced SQL techniques using Oracle Required 5 Years Experience with advanced PL/SQL Required 3 Years Communicate effectively, verballly and in writing, with business, technical, and executive teams. Required 5 Years Plan and perform detailed functional testing on software products. Required 5 Years Experience with data validation, verification, and mapping between the two data systems.
