*Title: Core Java Developer with Financial* *Location: Jersey City, NJ* *Duration: 6-12 month contract* *EAD, GC, USc only* *******MUST BE LOCAL FOR A FACE TO FACE******* *****MUST HAVE FINANCIAL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE****** *Kindly reply to sara.wil...@itbtalent.com* *Main Duties* Responsible for implementing new application components, integrating existing components, and pulling together data from various sources. - Front to back design, development and implementation of new components. - Enhancements/modifications to the existing application components. - Develop/maintain web-based applications - While the role will not require database modeling, strong database knowledge along with PERL and shell scripting is very important for the position - Investigation of ongoing production stability issues & propose tactical and strategic solutions - Support batch processes *Person Requirements* *Qualification / Education Requirements* - Minimum seven years experience in developing Core Java/J2EE applications, with strong Core Java background - Minimum five years experience in developing web based applications, comfortable with JSP/EJB/Servlets - Minimum three years experience in PERL and shell scripting in Unix/Linux environment - Strong knowledge of SQL developing & proficient in Transact-SQL and debugging stored procedures - Strong design, object oriented and core computer science skills - Prior experience in MDM technologies a big plus. - Knowledge of Autosys, Perforce, Maven and TeamCity tools preferred - Proficiency in Weblogic server.
