Candidate must have at least 5+ years of experience working with custom application design and development within Informatica Power center. Candidate must possess strong technical skills and demonstrated ability to follow best practice SDLC methodology. Should also be knowledgeable and have experience working with large scale financial applications in large scale organizations. Candidate must have an analytical, logical thought process for developing project solutions and resolution to issues. Technical skills should include strong Informatica Power center, SQL Server, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehouse. Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory. Technical certifications and advanced degrees are a plus. *Basic qualifications:* * 5+ years of experience in development, maintenance, and enhancement of Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and other processes using Informatica Power center 9.x * Developed efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems * Experience in data warehouse systems and its related implementations using Informatica * Must have experience in writing complex SQL queries and understanding PL/SQL Programs in SQL Server * Experience in performance tuning of slowly performing data loads/ ETLs * Worked with files containing a million plus records * Worked with the following sources/targets: SQL Server tables, views, queries, flat files, and COBOL files * Experience in resolving project/production problems and on call support * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills * Ability to work independently once guidance and goals are provided * Developed original and/or complex code and provided coding guidance to less experienced staff * Verified program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
