It is a junior sharepoint developer in Washington DC *Must be local or Near
By and EAD, GC or Citizen*. 6 month contract to hire

*Phone and Face to Face interview Must.*
*Hourly Rate:$40-$45/Hr on 1099 or C2C*
*FTE Salary- 60-75K*


*SUMMARY*Software Engineer is responsible for software integration,
customization & support of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software
products with a primary focus upon SharePoint 2010/2013. Requires working
directly with AAMC program staff to support operations and maintenance.


* RESPONSIBILITIES*Provide front end development and administration in
SharePoint Server 2010 and 2013 to include document management, automated
workflow, collaboration, messaging, and content management
Develop custom views, lists, libraries and integrate enterprise content
with SharePoint to include content formatting, workflow and restricting
access to content
Configuration and customization of SharePoint 2010 pages including: default
forms, Data Views, Web Parts, etc.
Development of custom ASP.NET web applications including integration with
SQL Server and Oracle DB
Provide support to create and modify electronic forms utilizing Microsoft
Office InfoPath.
Undertake other duties as assigned.

          *QUALIFICATIONS*
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering,
business, or related scientific or technical discipline required (may be
waived with strong practical experience).
3+ years experience of hands-on. .Net3.x development, SharePoint 2010/2013,
Microsoft Office Infopath, SharePoint Designer 2010, or Visual Studio.
3+ years progressive experience in SQL (2005 and higher), HTML, CSS, or
Java Script required.
Desired skills: understanding of Business Connectivity Services, reporting
and dashboards

             *Job Titles and Functions Supervised*
This position does not supervise AAMC staff on a regular basis, although
occasional supervisory duties are possible.  This position may be called
upon to review and evaluate the work of contract employees related to
project activities and provide technical liaison with vendors who provide
software contracting services or support.

              *Frequency and Complexity of Contacts*
This position requires frequent and regular collaboration with AAMC staff,
plus occasional contacts with constituent representatives, colleagues at
peer organizations, and representatives of commercial consulting firms.
This position requires work independently or in a team setting with IT
Management, Project Managers, Technical Leads, Systems and Database
Designers, System Developers and Customers to accomplish needs analysis and
the resulting application development

           *Supervision Received*
This position requires independence, with minimal direction of day to day
tasks.  General supervision from Information Technology Project Manager
includes systems assignments, reviews of work, and specific guidance given
as needed.
