Title: Storage Manager posted on 2014-05-12 14:08:12 Job Description:*Job Title: Storage Management* *Location: Omaha, NE* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Job Description:* • Hardware of NetApp: FAS2000, FAS3000, FAS6000 Series. • Filer Architecture and Components. • Physical Storage Management: Aggregate, Flexible Volume, Qtree. • Logical Storage Management: Volume, Qtree, LUNs, Files and Directories. • Quota Management. • User level and Group level Quota management. • CIFS File System, NFS File System Management. • Supporting NetApp storage infrastructure for customers and work on Incident Management, Change Management, Service Request Management, Asset Management and Problem Management. • Providing support to multiple customers as shared delivery. • Coordinating with the customers. • De-Duplication. • Active/Active administration. • Snapshot, Snapmirror, Snaprestore. • Troubleshooting NFS and CIFS issues. • Exporting the Volumes, Qtree and mounting them on Server. • Technical knowledge on Snap vault, Metro cluster and High Availability configuration. • Brocade switch3900, 5300 12000 • Brocade DCX switch • Brocade SAN switch Zoning • Direct Attached Storage (DAS) • Network Attached Storage (NAS) • Storage Area network(SAN) • LUN creation and mounting storage unit on the server. Managing FC and ISCSI luns. • CIFS and NFS managing as per user requirement. • SAN, NAS, Data storage, data management, backup & disaster recovery, SAN copy RAID arrays. • NetApp Data on Tap V-Series 3170, FAS940, FAS3050 FAS2020, FAS6070 FAS270, FAS3020, FAS6030, FAS6080) Ontap7.3configuration,Monitoring and managing. • NetApp Snap Mirror, Snap Vault, Dedup, SMVI, cloning, snapshout, Vfiler, Snap manager • Experience on extending the Volumes size on the filers by following the process according to the filers located in Various Regions. • Creating the Volumes on the filers, setting up the snapshots on the volumes, creating and initializing the snap mirror replication and applying the De-duplication to the volume. • Creating the CIFS shares according to the user request and handling the various connectivity issues related to the CIFS access to the users. • Creating the NAS-CIFS/NFS Shares and providing the path to the OS team and troubleshooting the NAS path if needed and also providing access to the servers. • Preparing the Lag Report on the Snap mirrors. And troubleshooting the snap mirror. • Experience on the user home drives Archival to the NAS Shares. • Creating the Mix mount which should be access in both windows as well as UNIX based operating system and working on issues related to the mix mounts. • Experience with Datacenter peoples for replacing the hardware such as Hard disk replacement, Shelf replacement, Power supply replacement and verifying the status until the hardware gets replaced. • Creating a case with NetApp Vendor related to the hardware replacements.
