*Role: Smart Platforms OSI Pi Consultant* *Location: Houston, TX* *Duration: Long Term* *No of positions : 4* *Job Description:* The OSI Pi Consultant will focus on providing consulting services for our clients in the Oil & Gas industry. The Smart Platforms Consultant will work with the client’s Global Workflow Consultant (GWC) group within it’s IT organization to assist with Hybrid Support which bridges engineering discipline and IT. Critical to the success of the client’s organization is a hybrid mix of staff with deep skills in both IT and technical domains such as, scheduling, manufacturing, refining, process optimization. In addition, the GWC group maintains close relationships with other components of the organization such as Portfolio and Innovation, Architecture, Technical Landscape Services, and with third-party vendors such as OSIsoft, Honeywell, Aspen Technologies and Intergraph, NRX etc. *Key responsibilities may include:* *User Focus* · Host quarterly user fórums on OSI pi ; issue periodic user surveys · Develop best practices on workflows/templates (how to use the system) with/for discipline SMEs, discipline will own the workflows · Main focal point towards the discipine & business users (feeding new business requirements to Technology team/vendors/disciplines, feeding top issues to Support team) *Deployment* · Own training component of OSI Pi · Plan deployments of new releases with local assets *Support* - Train the relevant communities on workflow standards/ business process - Manage the top 10 issue list coming from the business - Manage communication to business *Qualifications:* *Basic Qualifications* _ Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Chemical _ Minimum of 10 years of experience with Smart Platform systems of which 6 years with OSI Pi _ Excellent communications and soft skills to facilitate between Discipline and IT. *Preferred Skills Requirement:* _ Very good understanding of business and IT requirements for Downstream Oil and Gas processes as well as scheduling and well versed with defining optimized solutions. _ Understanding of the solution development life cycle and familiarity with the various phases such as gathering user requirements, development, business readiness, and/or executing test protocol. _ Ability to travel to client sites when necessary.
