Title: Regulatory Lead BA (Financial)
Location: New York. NY
Duration: 6-12 month contract

Person Requirements
·Demonstrable knowledge of Fed / PRA / EBA regulatory capital rules – e.g.
Section 165, Common Reporting, Basel3, and CRD IV.
· Has evidence that they have kept up to date with regulatory policy,
particularly for regulatory capital management.
· Has operated as a business analyst / SME within finance driving out
regulatory capital management solutions. The ability to produce functional
specifications.
· Strong evidence of driving out the build of regulatory capital management
solutions (e.g. trading / banking book counterparty credit risk,
standardized market risk, concentration risk, significant and
non-significant holdings, intercompany controls, large exposures reporting,
common reporting (CoRep)).
· Strong SQL skills. Although the person in the role will not be expected
to carry out development they need to be technically proficient to work
with developers and also to check the results of calculations.
· Business and technology process modelling (e.g. BPMN, UML).
· The ability to design and define finance taxonomies.
· The ability to run and manage a design authority.
· The ability to work with senior management across risk, finance and
technology and establish credibility in their role.
· Strong requirements management and elicitation skills.
· Proven expertise in ensuring QA of regulatory capital management
solutions is carried out effectively.
· Acting as a mentor to analysts and developers.

Good to have
· Test driven development.
· Working in scrum teams using agile delivery and use of agile estimation
techniques
· An architecture qualification – e.g. TOGAF, Zachman.
· Data modelling skills.
· Knowledge of products such as AXIOM.
· Investment banking / risk experience
· Experience of working in regulatory policy groups.
· Finance qualification – e.g. CA, CFA.
· Numeric first degree – e.g. finance, engineering, economics, accounting.
· Experience of reporting tools such as BusinessObjects or QlikView.
· Utilization of SPARX Enterprise Architect.
