NAC Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH

Length: 6 Months Contract-Hire

Job Family Description: Develops technical vision and roadmaps without
supervision. Writes for publication. Shares long-term technical and
business vision to large audiences on a regular basis. Makes decisions
of a global, strategic nature by analyzing complex data systems and
incorporating knowledge of other lines of business. Is recognized as a
positive leader and is capable of defusing complicated interpersonal
issues while managing customer expectations. Spearheads complex
programs that span multiple inter-organizational units and interfaces
with more experienced management. Is a leader in identifying critical,
high pay-off technology strategies and prioritizes team efforts
accordingly. Possesses advanced knowledge of business application and
services. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team
members. (1) advanced understanding of LoB technology drivers and
their impact on architecture design (2) advanced understanding of
performance and monitoring (3) Proficient in more than one specific
infrastructure technology (5) advanced troubleshooting skills (6) Must
be able to assemble technology solutions and effectively define and
implement a working architecture (7) Demonstrated ability to
conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and
within budget (8) Ability to articulate to more experienced management
a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms (9)
Technical certifications as required. This position should typically
be used for an advanced or lead level resource.

Additional Skills: - Expert knowledge of Network Access Control
products and technologies.

- Experience installing, configuring and operating NAC products.

- Working knowledge of IP routing architectures and protocols

- Working knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switch products

- Working knowledge of scripting languages, PERL, GO, PYTHON etc.

 Key Responsibilities:

Create technical scoring requirements for vendor/technology analysis
Product Certification Test plan creation and execution Produce
Standards documents

 Qualifications

5-10+ years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on

5-10+ Network Security and access control

Demonstrated experience with NAC/802.1x rollout Demonstrated
experience with Cisco ISE Demonstrated experience with Forescout
Strong knowledge of various network authentication types and access
control methods Proven experience with the configuration and testing
of related hardware and software Experience using various applications
such as MS Project, MS Office, and MS Visio Excellent client
interfacing skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and
ability to work with all levels of management.

Ability to work independently and in team settings of various sizes
and locations Experience operating with colleagues across different
time zones with a flexible approach to working hours (ability to work
varied hours and weekends a must) in order to successfully interact
and communicate on a global level Experience leading technology
initiatives Highly desired skills:

Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, Web Application Firewall Financial
industry experience Networking knowledge (i.e. routers and switches)

and regional MPLS networks. The Engineer Lead, Network Services
Product Engineer (PE) will be a subject matter expert and technology
leader for NAC and endpoint authentication techniques. The PE is
directly responsible for all aspects of product engineering. This
includes the creation of technology and product roadmaps, vendor and
product evaluations, standards creation, design authority and provide
tier 4 support. Collaboration with Global Technology Infrastructure
Towers, Global Network Services Teams and business units. Creation of
standards, product sets, templates, systems and artifacts are
important to the success of the Product Engineer, the department and
the firm at larger. The Product Engineer will be considered a subject
matter expert in their field and is expected to stay current with
various technologies, organizational goals and industry trendsto
