*Position: ETL DeveloperLocation: Fort Worth, TXTerm: 1+ year contract (long term)Requirements:Job description- Work closely with Solution Architect, Data Modeller, Data Mapper, Business Analysts to understand business requirements, providing expert knowledge and solutions on - Performing problem assessment, resolution and documentation in existing ETL packages, mapping and workflows in production- Modifying existing OWB code to provide defect fixes for existing ETLs- Evaluate and design data collection, data staging, data movement, analytics delivery, data quality and archiving strategies - Lead and guide the ETL developers in data profiling, source-target mappings, ETL development, SQL tunings and optimization, testing and implementation- Identify opportunities to optimize the ETL environment, implement monitoring, quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity - Provides end-users supports including business queries and requests Requirement- 4-5 years IT experience, with both hands-on and lead experience in providing data warehousing solutions- Technically strong in ETL concept, design and development using ETL tools - Ability to lead a team of ETL developers to meet project objectives, tracking of status and reviewing deliverables at every stage of the SDLC- Ability to identify required tasks and accurately determine needed resources and timeframes to complete a project and enhancements - Telecom domain knowledge is added advantage- Preferred technical skills:- ETL Tools: Datastage 7.5- Databases & Utilities: NCR Teradata & utilities, Oracle 8i/9i/10g, PL/SQL, SQL Loader- Platforms: NCR/AIX Unix and shell scripting - Interface Tools: Connect Direct, DB2 Connect- Jobs Schedulers (preferably Control-M)- A self-motivated personality, and able to work efficiently by himself/herself, as well as, in a team* *Please send resume to gorak.prav...@zevatechnology.com <gorak.prav...@zevatechnology.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
