*Rate on a corp to corp basis is $65-70.00 per hour* Interview process will consist of two telephone interviews and an onsite interview (candidates local only to CA please they will not do Skype) Must have a strong SAP BI background with BOBJ Job Description: Required Skills Reporting to the Manager SAP BW / BI, this position will be responsible for Designing and Development of BW / BI backend, BI Frontend Reports and provide ongoing support. This position will be responsible for working with BI Manager and our Information Systems staff and Business Systems users. The client recently completed the initial SAP implementation for corporate functions, subsequent roll-outs are planned as well as continuous improvement initiatives. Given their global growth, demonstrated ability to prioritized and work as a team is critical. Key Responsibilities: Collect Requirements from Business Users. Design, Develop and Deliver SAP BI Content based on the Requirements. Specifically Design, Develop and Roll out BI Reporting in BOBJ tools. Manage projects from design to training, to bring new areas of the business into BW Lead teams of business client and external consultants to define project requirements, and implementation plans Extend BW’s role to include new data sources Monitor system utilization and performance monitoring Responsible to ensure data accuracy in final reports Ability to work well independently and as an effective team member Effectively provide ongoing support - investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve in a timely manner Adhere to defined change management processes to ensure priorities are met and changes are implemented in a controlled fashion Work closely with team members and business clients to creatively and cost-effectively improve existing solutions Work on multiple assignments, aggressive targets and critical deadlines Provide and maintain SAP BW knowledge and integration point expertise Respond to business and technical requirements with solid specifications Provide unit testing, integration testing, and participate in QA/QC process Participate in project life cycle activities as required Facilitate SAP BW training as required Communicate, coordinate and liaise with a variety of technical and business groups Provide on-call and after hours support as required Other activities as assigned Requirements: 2 to 5 years of experience in supporting/ implementing SAP BW / BI Strong Experience with BI - BOBJ Proficient in SAP BI design, implementation and support Experience in collecting Requirements from the Business Experience in documenting process and technical specifications related to BW Strong background in BW Modeling and Design of BW Architecture Strong understanding of reporting concepts SAP ERP data structure knowledge Data extraction using standard and enhanced data extractors and available development tools for SAP and non-SAP data sources Data modeling, star schema, and InfoProviders design Interface management and coordination Data loading process and procedures Experience with SAP ECC Finance and Supply Chain interaction Experience with configuration in other SAP modules (e.g. FICO, MM, SD, PS or CRM) considered an asset.
