Title: Lab Technicians / Experts posted on 2014-07-08 13:55:00 Job Description:*Role : Lab Technicians / Experts* *Work Location : Bellevue, WA* *Duration : 6-8 months* *Mandatory Technical Skills * · A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field · 5+ years’ experience in Mobile / Server Lab Management · Strong understanding of TCP/IP · Subnetting · CIDR · Static Routes/Routing overall · ACL Management/troubleshooting · Experience with Windows Firewall and common ports · DHCP · VLANs and VLAN Tagging · Load Balancing · Understanding dual homing a server · Strong knowledge of Hyper-V · Setting up a Virtual Machine · Deploying multiple VMs · Experience with SCVMM · Strong hardware troubleshooting skills · Knowledge of RAID types (what they are and how they work/the differences between them) · Diagnosing and replacing hardware such as memory, hard drives, controllers, fans, etc. · Diagnosing failed hardware methodically · Inventory Management · Tracking assets routinely and accurately · Good understanding of imaging technologies (WDS, MDT, Altiris, etc) · Knowledge on how to sysprep and capture an image as well as deploy. · Experience troubleshooting these technologies. · Good understanding of security patching and how it works/why it’s needed. Desirable Technical Skills : Experience on Test and Automation *Mandatory Functional Skills * · Customer Service · Experience working with enterprise customers to build deep and long lasting relationships. · Top notch customer service delivery and execution. · Experience working in a team and knowing when to ask for help. · Ability to remain calm under pressure. · Strong written and verbal communication. · Accountability/owning up to mistakes.
