Location: Fort Lee, NJ

 Description:

The Lead, Oracle HRIS / Payroll Applications & Reporting plays an active
and critical role in the Company’s successful use of the Oracle HRIS / ADP
Payroll systems and related projects. This position will provide project
management, business analysis, systems analysis and test plan design and
will have significant interaction with all levels of the HR and PR
organization, the IT department, and other senior management, in support of
initiatives.

II. Key Responsibilities: Describe responsibilities that involve a minimum
of 10% of employee’s time. Specify the end result and how it is
accomplished.

1. Leader in project management of all HR/PR related projects, work
requests and HR/PR supported business initiatives. Define and document the
project scope, gather the business requirements, evaluate end-user needs,
architect solutions and manage the deliverables. Provide key business
analysis and technical architecture guidance.

2. Support of complex, heterogeneous environment, along with strong
hands-on technical skills with Oracle HR, Payroll, Self Service, and
reporting tools. Responsible for the management of service delivery and
operations for technical resources.

3. Collaboration with internal departments and external organizations
including department heads, consultants, vendors, DBA’s, system analysts,
PM’s, BA’s, and executive team.

4. Assist with guiding an integrated services team charged with using and
leveraging employee service systems: SmartLinx for time recording, time
records processing and data transfer to Oracle for payroll processing;
Oracle HCM for all aspects of HR, Benefits and Payroll processing.

5. Design, estimate, propose, build, and document enterprise class
architecture solutions and systems based on Oracle technology offerings in
a complex environment in addition to the management of day to day support.

6. Maintain working knowledge and documentation for HRIS business
processes. Understand and articulate a full understanding of the Oracle
HRIS system including its functionality, benefits and limitations. Build
use cases and models to depict process flows by using a combination of
graphical information and text in natural language to convey business,
system and functional requirements to business and technical staff.

7. Proactively identify data issues and collaborate to mitigate the risks
by proposing data rationalization and clean up strategies. Monitor data
management and develop exception reporting. Ensure that HRIS Oracle
processes align with Company policies and procedures as established and in
compliance with applicable regulations / industry standards. Identify
opportunities to improve processes. Assist stakeholders and appropriate
specialists to reengineer existing processes and programs as necessary.
Work in partnership with other Company team members to ensure the
successful continuous use of appropriate systems and information.
Facilitate joint planning, application, and functional design sessions to
support cross-team alignment. Analyze findings to develop an end-to-end
solution, applying business process re-engineering with use of new systems
or enhancements to existing applications.

8. Participates in developing training plans from operations and software
vendors. May conduct training sessions in a group or individual setting and
will document training results and audit session.

9. Works with teams and vendor on building and maintaining features within
the application to continually improve workflow. Evaluates impact of system
change or organizational change(s) on operations within company operating
departments. Works with department staff to implement workflow changes as
necessitated by system changes.

10. Participate in meetings, workgroups, projects.

11. Respond to end user phone calls, emails, faxes and questions in a
timely and professional manner.

12. Performs all job functions in compliance with applicable federal,
state, local and company policies and procedures.

III. Position Qualifications: To perform at a proficient level and be fully
qualified, a person would be expected to have:

   - Five years hands-on Oracle HR, Payroll, Advanced Benefits, Self
   Service, and workflow. Experience in developing projects, communicating
   project tasks and milestones to team, managing and implementation of new
   workflows, projects, processes, and educating end users. Ability to
   translate user requests into system and workflow solutions supporting
   industry and system best practices.
   - Excellent written and oral presentation skills and preferably
   experience introducing organizational change.
   - Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels
   of personnel in discussions and explanations of complex systems.
   - Working knowledge of any specialized processes, legal requirements
   necessary to perform duties.
   - Ability to manage projects and to effectively work as part of a team
   on larger projects
   - Excellent analytical skills, time management skills, ability to
   prioritize and multi task, ability to routinely make effective and timely
   decisions in alignment with departmental direction is required.
   - Must have the ability and willingness to be on-call for live coverage
   and to cover live weekend events.
