*Position : Lead / Sr. Data Architect Location : Center Valley, PA or Parsippany, NJ Duration : 6-12 Months* *F2F will be required after positive phone interview* *Lead/ Sr. Data Architect* Work that involves the coordination of enterprise business, information, technical, and solution architectures. This includes analyzing business drivers to develop requirements and analyzing industry and market trends. Oversee data architecture implementation and onging refinement activities. Partner with business leaders to develop IT data solutions for business needs; develop governance structure. Responsible for the design of the enterprise-wide data/information architecture, data modeling, and database design. Define architecture standards, policies, procedures, and structure. Apply accepted data content standards to projects. Facilitate business analysis, data acquisition, and design to guide solution development and achieve consistency across the portfolio. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * 1. Lead and Champion areas of data architecture implementation and maintenance of a strategy to facilitate the sharing, communication and usage of MetaData across technology and the business by the use of subject oriented data models or similar. 2. Responsible for strategic direction of global data model and managing team of sr. data architects, data architects and data analysts 3. Develop corporate data models and library / MetaData repository including best practice for development of data transformation specifications. 4. Assist in the creation of cost benefit analysis and ROI studies for internal uses of MetaData and Global Data Strategies by justifying the value global data architecture brings to the business. 5. Personnel and execution management of team members and contractors for delivery of data projects ontime and on budget. *KEY REQUIREMENTS* 1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or extensive and related project management experience 2. Minimum ten to fifteen years experience with line responsibility for constructing, testing and building enterprise models, schemas, and libraries 3. Stronge knowledge of data architecture, design principles and standards and worked directly in data architecture within a technology organization. 4. Working skills in MetaData Management and tools supporting MetaData. A plus is knowledge in IBM Infosphere tools for MetaData Management. 5. Knowledge in data mapping to entity relationships 6.
