Title: Business Intelligence Analyst Rate 55/hr all inclusive New York, NY Client: Sirius/XM Radio Interview Process: Telephone, In-person Detail Job Description: Key areas of responsibility will include: * Conduct data pulls and perform customized data analysis * Work with the data warehouse and/or non-BI data sources to perform investigations. * Develop rapid understanding of business issues and determine the data needed to support investigations and/or reporting to support those issues. * OEM, Retail, Listener Care, Subscriber Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and Revenue Assurance Reporting and Investigations as assigned * Develop and automate reporting packages for multiple audiences; critical success factors include the abilities to: * Understand all relevant data sources * Extreme attention to details and data accuracy * Provide complete reporting solutions using data analysis and T-SQL data mining techniques * Work independently and research innovative solutions to challenging technical problems Requirements: * Strong communication skills and business savvy are essential. * Technical data analysis and reporting skills are crucial, including advanced knowledge/skills in the use of SQL in a SQL Server environment, advanced skills in MS Excel and Access, and basic knowledge of Cognos report development. Teradata SQL skills a plus. * 7+ years work related experience required * Must have the ability to interpret logical and physical database diagrams.
