Qualifications (background, education, experience, and other requirements): • 3 to 4 years of experience designing data warehouse solutions • 3 to 4 years of full-time experience in database development with SQL Server data warehousing on SQL Server 2005/2008, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Integration Services (2 years+), SQL Server Reporting Services • Experience with design/development of OLAP cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services including cube partitioning and support for Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) • Relevant experience with dimensional design models in high volume, transaction based environments • MCTS SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance certification a plus • Full Life Cycle Experience in Data Warehouse Design, Development, Tuning and Support • Knowledge of proper cube design for KPI’s, Data Mining Models, Perspectives, and SSAS Security • Expert comprehension of the MDX query language • Experience with SharePoint components relating to OLAP storage solutions such as ProClarity and MS Excel Services.
