Title: ETL Developer Local to San Francisco, CA Location: San Francisco, CA Rate: Open Duration: 3 months plus EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Will assist the Informatica ETL team with the following to ensure a successful ETL implementation for new projects Work with project teams through ETL design and build phases to ensure a well performing and successful deployment to production, while guiding the team with following proper standards and design techniques. Assist in the support of existing Informatica applications to help application teams with existing production issues. Works with Metadata Manager development, custom connect development, testing and deployment of scheduled updates (creation of best practices and standards surrounding Metadata Manager is a plus). Use Informatica Normalizer for VSAM/Copybooks to meet project requirements and worked with developers to begin using these products as needed. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 8+ years experience as an ETL Designer/Developer with extensive Informatica (8.6.1) experience. Extensive experience working with Informatica PowerCenter 8.6 or higher Advanced ETL design and coding skills using PowerCenter client tools in a UNIX environment. UNIX korn shell experience creating scripts to call PowerCenter workflows to execute using PMCMD commands. Good SQL and PL/SQL skills (Oracle 10G) PowerCenter administration experience in a highly available environment. Informatica B2B DT and Data Quality experience is desired. Experience with configuring custom connects in Metadata Manager is desired. 5+ Data Warehousing/ETL project implementations. Good understanding of COBOL/VSAM files is desired. Financial industry experience is a plus Agile development experience nice to have. Experience with Control-M or other scheduling tools with Informatica is a plus.
