Having experience on ERP implementation and knowledge of SQL Server systems would be added advantage Profile: Relevant 6-8 years of Core Oracle DBA with experience in supporting large and dynamic Oracle database environment. Sharp trouble shooting skills. Expertise in backup/recovery using conventional backups and specifically RMAN. Expect to have implementation knowledge on RMAN. Strong working knowledge on database upgrades and patching. Strong shell scripting knowledge with a heavy inclination/desire for automation. Oracle database support versions ranging from Oracle 8i / 9i / 10g. 10g grid control reporting / agents monitoring and management. Ability to manage backups and recovery / Disaster recovery drills / Perform backup audits. 7/24 Production Support, troubleshooting and Performance tuning. Very Strong with RMAN. Strong Unix Shell Scripting Support Oracle upgrades / installations / migrations.
