Position: Title: Data Analyst / Data Modeler
Location: Mclean, VA
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $60 ph on C2C
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years experience in complex data analysis and
relational data modeling
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in modeling based
on analysis of documentation and profiling sample data
- Ability to achieve consensus on modeling structure and
naming standards
- Advanced experience with data analysis tools including MS
Excel, MS Query, MS Access, SQL, and/or SAS
- Experience gathering and documenting business and data
requirements
- Familiarity with Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
project methodologies
- Understanding of business process redesign
- Solid knowledge of the mortgage banking business and/or
secondary mortgage market
- Ability to work in a dynamic business environment and
manage multiple tasks
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ER Studio, ERwin or similar data modelling
tools
- Knowledge of XML Schema Definition Language
- Knowledge of Financial Modeling and/or XBRL
