Experience with both system-level and unit-level testing methodologies, specifically with web-based applications3 Mid Level Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineers Overview: We are seeking an experienced mid level software quality assurance engineers with proven leadership and automation skills to work with the engineering and quality teams to participate in the building of system-level test automation and execute automated and manual tests. These candidates will work primarily with engineers to provide SQA for development. Responsibilities: Candidates will be responsible for executing software quality assurance test automation cases for Java based web applications. This is a highly technical, hands on role: 80% of the work will involve recording and executing complex Web based scenarios using Test Partner & QA Director tool (Compuware) Candidates should be able to convert test plans and execute test cases into automated test suites. Should be able to maintain documentation of test results. Analyze test results and recommends corrective actions. Experience with both system-level and unit-level testing methodologies, specifically with web-based applications Experience reviewing and providing feedback on automation code, following and promoting code standards, and automation components for reusability and maintainability Strong analytical abilities, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to design, implement, maintain and extend effective system test automation solutions are desired Experience in a test environment for web based applications on server machines is desired Working knowledge and experience in MS SQL Server 2005/Oracle/DB2 in handling queries/ restoring databases/ db maintenance is desired Good knowledge of software development life cycle, SQA/Testing process flow and their tools usage Should have exposure to working on different automation frameworks. Preferably should have worked on Keyword Driven Framework.
