*REPLY TO: [email protected] *** ** *Usability Specialist* The Contractor shall provide application and business planning, analysis, and requirements support, including business process modeling, related to usability and accessibility to assist SSA’s developers and project teams. These services are essential to the Agency’s successful use of IT to handle the upcoming wave of new benefit claims coming from the retiring baby boomers. The OS is making plans to migrate to a seamless SOA in order to streamline development time and modernize SSA’s aging application architecture. To support this effort, usability specialists are needed to perform business process analysis, user requirements elicitation, requirements documentation through visual design and prototyping, and usability testing, usability standards development, and training. Accessibility specialists are needed to assist SSA developers with planning, designing, developing and testing for accessibility and Section 508 compliance.
