Position : Java developer***5 Postions*** Location: Pittsburgh, PA Interview: Phone Length: 6 months with possible extensions Rate:$40/hr Job Description : Successful candidates for Java Developer positions will design, develop and implement new multi-tiered application functionality for Java banking applications. The candidate will maintain existing Java code while adhering to appropriate coding standards, software development methodologies and process flows. Responsibilities will include: . Work in collaborative team environment with Developers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts and Product Managers to ensure successful implementations of new services. . Review technical high level designs, lead detailed designs and software implementation, participate in design reviews and code reviews, ensure unit testing and integration testing, facilitate code delivery to multiple environments and resolve operational issues. . Work with QA and provide support and timely technical resolutions for defects. . Setup, tune, and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed. . Adhere to established coding standards and adopt to the software development methodologies in compliance with the established SDLC process flow. Requirements for the position include: . Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field . 6 + years experience as a Java/J2EE developer . Experience with Java/J2EE applications, Spring MVC, Struts, Websphere, IRAD and Oracle. . Systems analysis and functional design experience is required, along with a thorough knowledge of database concepts and relational databases . Experience in system architecture, design principles and system development methodologies . Financial services or banking industry experience is preferred.
