Role: - Senior SAP PP PI Functional Location: - Murrysville, PA Duration: - 12 + months No. of Positions: - 2 Detail Job Duties Required: . Proven implementation and support experience with SAP R/3 4.7 PP, PI, QM, MM, and PLM preferably in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industries. . Compliant Manufacturing in PP/PI utilizing SAP R/3 4.7 PI Sheets, XML Style sheets, cockpits, and the associated data configurations to support the processes. . An understanding of information technology hardware in the industrial space including data collection devices, PLC's, peripherals bar code readers, etc. . SAP Integration experience with external systems (via IDOC, BAPI and RFC's and other SAP integration technologies) in both batch and real time modes with demonstrable error handling solutions implemented. . Experience with SAP related business processes such as customer/product/vendor master data, BW, Enterprise Portals a plus. My SAP Suite experience a plus. . Ability to analyze and debug ABAP code . Experience with FDA quality system requirements for medical devices in the manufacturing environment including the thorough understanding of manufacturing execution workflow processes. . Strong internal customer and an action/problem solving orientation. . Communication and presentation skills to various levels of the organization . Demonstrable interpersonal and influencing skills across various organizational levels working in virtual teams across multiple sites and differing cultures. . Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to lead or participate in complex projects. . Looks for ways to improve efficiency with and without technology. . Successful in demonstrating a recognized expertise in the ability to understand and use information technology to satisfy business requirements. . 7+ years technical experience working with SAP R/3 4.6 system(s), preferably ECC5 or greater, . Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or information systems required. Masters degree and/or some advanced training a plus. . Unique combinations of education and experience may be substituted if they provide the essential skill sets for the position. Preferred: . Experience interfacing with Insight Automation Inc. software . PMBOK or Prince2 certified . ABAP programming experience . A high level of computer literacy in Company standard desktop packages (i.e. Microsoft Office) Candidate Responsibilities: . The successful candidate will lead strategic and tactical initiatives of the supply chain with a focus on production planning, quality management and assurance, product data management, and compliant manufacturing processes in a medical device environment. . Work with business process owners across customer service, repair, manufacturing/distribution, operations and marketing organizations to maximize effectiveness of software applications. . Candidate must demonstrate experience in capturing and documenting business requirements and have a track record for managing projects effectively in a regulated environment (Sarbanes Oxley, FDA, HIPAA, ISO). . Drive proper discussions, feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses to substantiate impact of change. . Provides technical and analytical guidance to an extended team. . Lead and direct the work of others. . Understand FDA requirements in a medical device manufacturing and quality system environment. . Work and make decisions independently. . Assist with routine and non-standard maintenance, upgrades, programming changes and analysis of system performance. . Support multiple manufacturing facilities, and central Logistics Execution processes in a Medical Devices industry. . Create or analyze various system alternatives and recommend optimal solutions to accomplish business objectives. . Support other groups such as Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and finance with SAP related requirements such as work estimations, feasibility studies, and error analysis. . Provide training/knowledge transfer. . Create functional and technical specifications for distributed work teams. . Responsible for ensuring system is configured and maintained to support company business practices while adhering to SAP best practices. . Test various business process scenarios to ensure software generates desired outcomes. . In conjunction with a global SAP team, ensure timely implementation of change and project requests. . Ability to manage projects from Initiation through Close. . Defines project scope and objectives, develops detailed work packages, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
