Position: WebSphere Admin Located in Baton Rouge, LA Duration: 6 Months Rate: Open Install, configure and administer WebSphere infrastructure deployed in clustered mode under z/Linux to provide high availability and fault tolerance. Demonstrate hands on experience with Websphere 7.x, tuning, configuration, sizing, clustering, deployment and problem resolution. Work closely with the technical Architects; contribute to solution design from an Infrastructure and Deployment perspective. Define, develop and enforce infrastructure setup and deployment standards and procedures. Support the development team as needed in the migration of software releases and the deployment/integration parts of the solution. . Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in using combination of the following technologies: . 5+ years hand on experience WebSphere application server (7.x) administration, IBM HTTP Server and application architecture in Enterprise computing environment. . 3+ years experience in WebSphere Network Deployment architecture and administration . 5+ years experience in UNIX/LINUX environment . 3+ Shell scripts development to automate repeatable tasks . Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills . Experience in installing and administering middleware products like MQSeries and iWay ESB etc. is desirable but not required. .
