*Position: Data Stage Developer Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 + months** * The ETL Designer/Developer will perform or work with: . Business Analyst(s) to understand informational requirements . Data Administrator and Data Stewards to understand information quality definitions and expectations of end users . Data Modeler and Database Designer in the design of target environment data structures . Business System and Data Analyst to understand source system data and structures . Detail design of source to target data mappings . Review proposed mappings with relevant personnel, e.g. Business Analyst, Data Stewards, Business System and Data Analyst . Generate detailed design documentation for the source-to-target transformations . Create test scenarios and be responsible for their execution . Work with enterprise application integration personnel to anticipate and resolve data integration issues across applications and technical infrastructures . (5 Years for Designer) and (2 years for Developer) experience in Data Stage 8.x or at least 7.5 is required, specifically to either develop new interfaces or modifying existing interfaces to augment the existing MDM or ETL functionality . The role of the Data Staging (ETL) Developer is to create the applications designed by the Data Stage (ETL) Designer.
