SEND TO : [email protected] * * * *Position: OBIEE Developer* Location: Rosemont, IL Duration: 6months+ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, implement and provide operational support of application systems that support reporting applications for multiple business segments. Study, analyze, and define the impact of the user's business needs on the system components and its interfaces to provide maximum benefits from each system. Provide subject matter expertise in the analysis and preparation of specifications and plans for development/modification of application business systems. Develop application systems that comply with the standard system development methodology and concepts for design, programming, code documentation, backup, and recovery to deliver solutions that have superior performance and integrity. Communicates effectively to development team members, project team members, project managers, and management to ensure successful project and support results. Develop high level design to be used in preparing associated documentation. Provide quality assurance testing and interpret results of programming changes of other team members and recommend revisions (peer reviews). Develops testing approach and build test cases to test core business functionality Defines and explains the impact of requirements on system components across multiple functional areas Provide estimates of work effort when requested. Related Experience: Minimum 6 years experience in general IT. Minimum 5 years experience with business intelligence applications such as OBIEE+, OR Business Objects Minimum 2 years hands-on report development experience with OBIEE+ or Siebel Analytics. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated experience using OBIEE+ or Siebel Analytics. Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence reporting and related data warehousing solutions Must be proficient in Oracle 9i or greater, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, TOAD (or similar tools used for database related development), UNIX, and UNIX scripting. Must be able to communicate effectively to team members, peers, and management to ensure successful project and support results. Demonstrated experience using structured SDLC methodologies.
