Need Configuration/Build Release engineer/ SCE at Pontiac, Michigan for 4-6
Months Contract

Technical Skills:

1. BEA WebLogic, Oracle SOA,OSB (Oracle Service Bus) administration

2. Build and release to development environment

3. Monitor dev server stability and server logs

4. Troubleshoot exception and memory leak scenarios

Spans HW and SW >*

They need to monitor and take corrective action to keep the >environment up
>*

SOA knowledge would be good, but it will require a broad range of >knowledge
and ability to pick things up quickly - including >trouble-shooting. >*

Monitor our Dev Server on Regular basis and identify the pattern >which
brings down our Server by analyzing the logs and activities involved >*

Monitor the usage of the server and forecast well in advance need >for
additional memory or so >*

Analyze the exception such as Time out and identify poorly handled >or
unhandled exception . And there by long running BPEL, query etch >Which
might consuming too much of memory >* Any other probability that is causing
memory leaks, and to >identify >process that creates rogue threads and so on
and advise the developers >of some best usage of it ..

Additional tasks that will need to be performed are:

1. Separate the SOA and OSB server on different machine. This would really
add more heap memory and prevent one of them crashing the other 2. Configure
the WLS- Node Manager. This would avoid every time to login to the machine,
we can start it from wls Admin console itself.

3. Restrict the access to user weblogic on SOA Dev and please create user
with least access ( just that would help them to run the test and view the

results)

4. Can we maintain the two server instances(just a copy of wls domain). If
one instance goes down, we can bring up the other instance and host the
services ASAP. (At least for OSB domain it would be much quicker as we just
need to import the jar to host the services) 5. To Maintain an automated
wlst script to start/restart the server(For remote start).

6. Using the scalable db instead of embedded db/XE db for domain schemas.(
Even though this was changed in JDBC connection since our last request, we
still find following message in log such as it is starting or stopping
serving the Server Derby instance found) 7. Also automation script .- to
Backup config.jar in OSB on daily basis
