SEND TO : [email protected] * *Position*: QA Lead with Obiee Location: GA Duration: 6months+ Project will begin with a 1-2 day overview of the apps they will be testing (OBIEE - reporting they have developed over the last 1-2 years; APEX; and Hyperion applications - preferred if candidates have tested these apps). Each testing group will have 1 USF person on the team. The Lead testers will develop the test strategies for the project, determine what they test, when they test and the data required for testing as well as write the test scripts. The testers main responsibility will be to execute the test scripts. Some of USF is using Mercury Quality Center, and some have not learned it yet. Exper. with it is a plus. QA Leads should be able to interface with the IT project team as well as our business users. Some of their responsibilities include: Producing the test strategy Authoring test scenarios/scripts Identifying entry criteria for testing such as data requirements, system access, etc. Being an escalation point for project testing issues. Provide project testing status Anything else needed to ensure an appropriate test has been conducted so that we deploy a quality product to our users Template from Ad Am jobs: Job Responsibilities: Test Leads will work directly with project managers, corporate users, developers, systems analysts and end users to determine testing strategy. business rules and system requirements. Work directly with project requestors and end users in support of user acceptance testing. Leads will participate and represent QA team in meetings. Consult and collaborate with database and software developers. Develop and execute test strategies, test plans and Traceability matrices. Develop and execute manual test cases and document results. Develop and execute automated regression and load tests where required and document results. Utilize HP Quality Center for all test management, development, execution, documentation and defect management activities. Make recommendations and assessments of software readiness. Define produce and analyze QA metrics.. Minimum Requirements: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Minimum 3 year experience in Quality Assurance and a solid understanding of IT QA testing standards. An understanding of the software development life cycle, hands on automated testing experience is required as well as load testing experience is desired. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: 1. SQL and PL/SQL technologies. Some scripting ability is attractive but not required 2. Relational database knowledge: Oracle platforms. 3. HP Quality Center and Quick Test Professional 5. HP Load Runner (preferable but not required) 6. Excellent testing and analytical skills 7. Customer service attitude and techniques essential. 8. Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision, strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills. 9. Some understanding of various server-side Oracle code objects (procedures, packages, functions, triggers, etc) with particular attention to query performance is highly attractive 10. Understanding of SQL Tools including Toad or equivalent 11. SQE, CSTE or other QA related certification a plus 12. Financial systems experience a plus.
