Serve as a lead technical member of a development team and interact with client and internal teams. 2.Design and construct ETL processes to aggregate, cleanse and load data across enterprise applications. 3.Support existing ETL processes by performing continuous improvements and performance tuning. 4.Work with other skilled team members to develop software solutions that meet user expectations. 5.Effectively manage daily tasks to meet key deliverables within the software development lifecycle. 6. Should be able to work with offshore and onshore team Specialized/Practical Knowledge: Requires 7 + years strong IBM DataStage experience on Linux platform (Sr. Level Position) Prefers experience with UNIX scripting Must have Oracle knowledge for performance tuning Experience with Salesforce .com would be a plus Experience with Change Data Capture Experience with Metadata Management Requires Strong IBM DataStage architecture skills Full functional knowledge of ETL solutions for legacy systems Skills : IBM DataStage 8.1 Server and Enterprise Edition Oracle PL/SQL UNIX Shell Scripting Strong Documentation Skills Management Skill: Participates in programs or processes. Assists with program/process administration. Interaction: Contact with peers and direct supervisor. Information explanation. Limited cross-functional interaction. Information exchange. Complexity/Problem Solving: Establishes objectives and defines procedures. Makes choices from diversified and complex procedures. May require judgment or interpretation of established instructions/guidance.
