*Position  :* F5 & ASM Network Engineer**

F5 8900 & ASM Network Engineer to support one of our premier clients with
an ongoing data center consolidation/DR project effort.



In continued support of a data center consolidation effort, our client is
seeking an experienced F5 8900 & ASM Network Engineer.

 The right candidate will have worked in a similar role & have extensive
data center experience & disaster recovery sites.



The selected candidate will be a network engineer with strong configuration
experience with F5 Big IP appliance.

The person should be comfortable working in a highly switched virtualized
data centers.

 There are two Big IP 8900 appliances that need to be setup for global load
balancing across 15 regional data centers.

There are about 8000 usable IPs configured to pass through this appliance
although not all of them will have to be load balanced though. In addition
to the load balancing configuration, the person will also be required to
configure ASM module.

The person will be involved in lot of white boarding session with the
security architect(s) to design the right ASM configurations.

The position kicks off March 1, 2012.

There may be an opportunity for travel to Poland & South America after the
Kansas City portion of the project effort so having a valid passport would
be ideal.



The work schedule is four ten-hour days (Monday through Thursday).
Candidates need to be on site by 8:00 a.m. each Monday & may travel home
for the weekends Thursday evening after their 10-hour shift.
