Position Windows System Administrator Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 + Months Rate: $40-50/Hr C2C Systems Administrator responsible for the effective & efficient provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of server systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. In addition, this covers the adoption of company related processes and procedures guarantying the implementation of system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures that adheres with technology direction and policies • Engineers of SA related solutions for various minor projects and operational needs Contributes to and maintain system standards Researches and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for sys admin tasks. Provides Level 3 support per request from end users. Investigates and troubleshoots complex issues. Repairs/recovers from hardware and software failures; coordinate and communicate with impacted end users. Performs periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning. Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configures CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required. Prepares reports and presentations as requested or necessary within IT & minor customers.
