** *Position: Sr. Programmer Analyst* * * ** * * *Duration: 6+ months* * * *Location: IN* ** ** *MUST have* · Solid understanding of the *SAP Enterprise Portal* platform, including creation of portal objects, maintaining KM repositories, *UME*configuration, and portal federation. · Experience with *Web Dynpro* (both Java and ABAP) · Experience with *ABAP and BSP* · Experience deploying and customizing standard *SAP* business packages (*ESS, MSS, SRM, Learning Solution*) · Experience with *SAP ECC* configuration including *POWL and OADP* *Job Description* · Performs all phases of systems development activities including requirements definition, analysis, developing program/system specifications, coding, testing, and maintenance for projects. · The incumbent will be required to complete projects on time, as well as provide daily maintenance, support, and enhancement of existing production applications and new development initiatives. *Principal Duties and Responsibilities* · Provides leadership for project plans for small to intermediate projects, performing the work defined by the project plan, monitoring progress on all assigned projects, and communicating project process and/or problems to manager on a timely basis. · Stays abreast of relevant technologies and business processes and provides input to the development and implementation of a global IM strategy · Provides consulting services and technical support to many stakeholders. · Minimizes application development requests by appropriately using data and tools to meet client needs · Demonstrates strong skills in communicating technical ideas to non-technical clients as well as peers in IT · Maintains relevant items in data dictionary and user documentation · Provide technical specifications to development partners · Creates and distributes various reports to clients and management using the test system, spreadsheets, and database and graphics applications · Responsible for on-call support of assigned systems. *Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs) * · Communicates clearly and concisely both verbal and written. Writes technical reports and manuals.
