Understanding of OLAP, OLTP, dimensional models. Optional, desirable · Pentaho Dashboard Designer – ability to create dashboards to integrate content from above tools (PRD, Analyzer, and PSW). Understanding of graphic design concepts, dashboard types, filters, content linking REQUIRED · Pentaho Metadata Editor (PME) – understanding of metadata to create business view of the data. Optional, Desirable *Pentaho Data Integration (PDI):* • Ability to create ETL flows using visual PDI tool • Understanding of ETL design including Change Data Capture, Staging models, Source to target mappings *Pentaho Administration:* • Ability to Install Pentaho BA Suite in Windows or Linux environment REQUIRED • Ability to administer Pentaho with understanding of Enterprise Console, User Console, BI and Enterprise repository management REQUIRED *Analytics is obviously key here. * Applicant should specify latest Pentaho versions work on. Current release is 4.8 for BA Suite. Additional background requirements are listed below; most critical is probably having the Oracle experience from a VW standpoint.
