Position : Java Swing Developer Location : Austin, TX Duration : Long Term A minimum of 5-6 years java enterprise development experience recent experience with Java Swing or SWT Experience developing concurrentcy API's (front end GUI development) We are looking for a senior java developer/engineer with current skills in Java Enterprise, SQL, database management, ETL and high-volume, data based applications. This person will be working on a senior team that contributes new features to the SMS (Security Management System) application in biannual software releases. They will be responsible for sustaining the product for their A-list customer base of network security administrators within the government, military and private enterprise. This large network security organization provides in-line, real time vulnerability threat protection for most Fortune 500 companies. The SMS manages all the network security devices for this company. The SMS is currently a Java Enterprise application, distributed as an appliance, based on Java Swing, JBoss, MySQL, Vertica and CentOS.
