*Position : IBM Websphere Suite Administrator – Level-3
Location : Washington DC
Duration : 6+ Months*
JD :
* Hands on strong experience in installation, configuration,
administration and troubleshooting of IBM Web servers, IBM Web application
servers, Websphere Portal servers, Websphere Content server, authentication
and authorization tools (Netegrity Siteminder).
* Strong Experience with Portal servers (specifically IBM WebSphere
Portal) and IBM WCM (Websphere content manager) administration.
* Strong Experience with single-sign-on (authentication and
authorization mechanisms), preferably using Netegrity Siteminder in
Production environment.
* Good experience with Business Continuity and Disaster recovery
implementations in the Web/Middleware platform.
* Experience in working on UNIX and Windows platforms.
* Strong Experience in installation and administration of Web servers
(e.g., Apache, Domino, IIS).
* Strong Experience with Java application servers (e.g., Tomcat and
Jboss )
* Good understanding of the Software development lifecycle.
* Must possess strong writing and interpersonal skills and must be able
to work under tight schedule and deadlines.
* Ability to train and mentor junior staff
The required qualifications for this position are:
* BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent and masters is a plus.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in Middleware related technologies.
* Minimum 7 years’ experience installing, configuring and supporting
IBM Websphere Application Server (WAS), IBM Websphere Portal Server, IBM
Web Content manager and developing WAS infrastructure s
