Please respond with your resume in MS WORD format along with contact details, rate and visa status to *[email protected] ONLY*** *Java Developer* *Vacaville CA* *F2F is MUST* *Rate: $45/hr inclusive all(No negotiation) * *Technical Knowledge & Experience Level* The Java Developer shall possess most of the following technical knowledge and experience: • 3+ years’ experience in developing web applications with Java technology. • Strong project level knowledge in Java language, Servlets, JSPs and EJBs. • Extensive project experience in writing J2EE applications with MVC architecture. • Strong knowledge of working with J2EE framework, knowledge of Struts desirable. • 2+ years’ experience of using WebSphere Application Developer Studio as an IDE. • 2+ years’ experience of using WebSphere Application Server. • Strong knowledge required in deploying applications in the WebSphere platform. • Knowledge of administering WebSphere Application Server desirable. • Strong project level knowledge in UML is required. • Strong knowledge of Oracle database is required. • Understand functional specifications, code applications using Web Technologies such as JAVA, • J2EE, Struts, XML,JSP, JASPER, HIBERNATE, Design Patterns with Oracle as a Database and WebSphere as an Application Server • Write complex object-oriented code in JAVA to implement desired program functionality using in-house tools and following standard guidelines and practices. • Monitor, administer and troubleshoot the web and application servers, environments and configurations. • Support and maintain application server environment security configurations. *Demonstrable Skills* The Consultant resource(s) shall possess most of the following qualifications: • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze information identify and formulate solutions to problems. • Complete work within a reasonable time frame under the supervision of a manager or team lead. • Extensive knowledge of and proven experience with data processing systems, and methods of developing, testing and moving solutions to implementation. • Work collaboratively with other development team members and independently on assigned tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision • Communicate effectively with users at all levels, both verbally and in writing. • Self-motivated, working closely and actively communicating with person to accomplish time critical tasks and deliverables • Ask questions and share information gained with other team members, recording and documenting this knowledge • Elicit and gather user requirements and/or problem description information, and record this information accurately • Listen carefully and act upon user requirements • Convey and explain complex problems and solutions in an understandable language to both technical and non-technical persons • Follow the lead of others on assigned projects as well as take the lead when deemed appropriate • Think creatively and critically, analyzing complex problems, weighing multiple solutions, and carefully selecting solutions appropriate to the business needs, project scope, and available resources • Take responsibility for the integrity of the solution • Ability to communicate effectively and influence others; and • Works well both independently and as part of a team.
