One of the primary tasks of this role will be to assist in the execution and operation of information and data protection strategies of CLIENT within a complex technical landscape. • Provide 24x7 enterprise support role for CA SiteMinder, Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Directory Server and authentication/PKI infrastructure with substantial knowledge and experience to include installations, configuration, tuning, maintenance, capacity planning, patching and upgrades. • Work closely with peers, enterprise architect, strategic planning, software developers, database administrators, and various client departments to ensure efficient integration and operation of authentication infrastructure software and various internally and externally developed applications. Build and maintain solid working relationships by working cooperatively with team members, and other groups / organizations as appropriate. Participate in various (ongoing) projects associated with pge.com and other Internet related initiatives. • Coordinate and/or participate in various activities, including support on existing infrastructure, on-call responsibilities, clearances, service level agreements, and support documentation and process development as required. Position-2 *Job Title : Teradata Developer* *Primary Skills : ETL, SQL; Teradata ,Oracle, Hive, Hadoop, Certification preferred, exposure to big data concepts preferred.* *Location : San Jose, CA* *8 positions now* *Your responsibilities will include:* • Design and develop data solutions to help the product and business teams make data driven decisions. • Lead end-to-end efforts, including design, development, and implementation, of the data integration process. • Interact closely with data infrastructure and engineering teams to build and extend cross platform ETL and reports generation framework. • Provide consultation to business partners such as analysts, management, end users, and developers to clarify objectives, determine scope, drive consensus, identify problems and recommend solutions. • Support end users on ad hoc data usage and be a subject matter expert on functional side of the business. *Required skills:* • Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. • Extensive knowledge of SQL; Experience working with Teradata and/or Oracle; Certification is preferred. • Expertise in database programming and performance tuning techniques. • Familiar with data movement techniques and best practices to handle large volume of data. • Extensive ETL development experience with ETL tools such as Abinitio or Informatica. • Familiar with data warehousing architecture and data modeling best practices. • Experience with file systems, server architectures, and distributed systems. • Willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities. • Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting is highly preferred. • Programming skills with understanding of performance, scalability, concurrency, scaling and extensibility is preferred. • Knowledge of Hadoop, HBase and Hive is preferred. • Experience with Agile methodology is preferred.
