I have below urgent requirement with one of our client. Initially the engagement will require the candidate to be on site, however IF things go well they will consider allowing some remote work to occur. *Data Warehouse Design consultant* to help with our ongoing implementation of a University Data Warehouse and OBIEE reporting platform. Our client needs assistance extending their current warehouse to include Human Resource and Payroll data from their Oracle eBusiness system. They have currently implemented Oracle’s EPM warehouse components for much of their student reporting, and have developed their own models for Financials system. All of this is based on the Kimball methodology, which will also be used for this HR/Payroll extension. In addition to developing the models, if time permits they would like assistance developing prototype SQL to populate the warehouse. All custom ETL’s are developed using PL/SQL *The proposed consultant must have the following experience: * · Experience with *Kimball *data warehouse methodologies · Experience developing *HR/Payroll* models in a higher education environment using *Kimball *methodologies, including experience determining when type 1 or type 2 dimensions should be used based on user needs · Experience populating *HR/Payroll* models in higher education environment using PL/SQL as the ETL tool * Preference will be given to candidates with the following:* · Experience configuring OBIEE to reflect changes in the warehouse · Ability to work on UNI’s campus for 1-2 weeks per month. Balance of weeks for the month would not be allocated to UNI. This would allow UNI to do much of the work, but rely on experience of consultant throughout our effort *Timeline* · Candidates will be reviewed and may be phone interviewed before a selection is made · Selection will be made by Friday December 13, 2013 with the engagement starting January 13, 2014 · Engagement must be completed by June 30, 2014 · Engagement is anticipated to be a minimum of 6 weeks, but could be extended if funding permits and satisfactory progress is being made.
