1 Senior Level Java Developer- Same as the Job Description with additional
skills in Data Mining, investigative analysis, name parsing, text parsing
and experience leading an onshore/offshore team of about 16 people
*Support and develop a highly robust insider trading application using
end-to-end technologies like Java, JavaScript, SQL and multi-threading
techniques! *
*Responsibilities:*
· Participate in developing financial applications within an Agile
environment.
· Analyze existing modules and come up with the changes that are
more aligned with business needs.
· Develop / rewrite user interface based in GWT and / or related
JavaScript libraries.
· Review high level technical designs; participate in detailed
technical designs, software implementations, and unit and integration
testing. Facilitate code delivery to production as well as analyze and
resolve trouble tickets & operational issues.
· Work with business analysts to define system requirements based
on business needs.
· Research, design and implement best solution available for
assigned tasks.
· Perform unit testing and code documentation.
· Report status to technical project manager on a regular basis.
* Requirements:*
· 5-10 years of software development experience with strong
knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate and multi-threaded applications.
· Recent experience and knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript
libraries like YUI, GXT, ExtJS, jQuery or Backbone.js.
· Demonstrated GWT experience is preferred.
· Strong SQL skills with writing complex queries and joins for an
Oracle database.
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or similar field).
