*Description:* *Title:Senior Business Analyst with Extensive Point Of Sale ( POS) * *Duration:6 Months* *Location:Minneapolis,MN* *Job Description:* Looking for a Senior Business Analyst with Extensive Point Of Sale ( POS) experience *Qualified candidates will have:* 3-5 years in experience implementing configurable software across multiple departments. Subject matter expertise in Point of Sale systems, PeopleSoft knowledge of Account Receivables (AR) and General Ledger (GL). Experience in security administration for third party solutions Experience in Billing (BI) and Grants (GR) PeopleSoft modules is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must The business analyst will be a key member of the enterprise team with the following *responsibilities:* Work in partnership with the APEX Business Analyst on identifying and documenting enterprise configuration recommendations to be followed by all business units as they are on-boarded onto the new system. Supports and documents deliverables for functional integration testing and user acceptance testing Apply established Project Management processes, policies, standards and procedures Provide weekly status reports to APEX PMO Lead, plan and facilitate requirements gathering sessions and develop, validate and secure acceptance of requirements documents for on-boarding various business functions. Work closely with project teams to solidify understanding of the requirements and ensure their realization throughout the project life cycle. Document process and procedures for setting up test, staging and production environments Work with APEX Business Analyst and Taxpayer Services to document security matrix for POS system Participate and coordinate testing aspects to ensure the delivery of quality Point of Sale software application to LOBs. Coordinate solutions with the IT technical team, and coordinate testing for applications used by multiple lines of business Lead as-is / to-be business process modeling sessions with subject matter experts to develop current and future state business process models that identify process improvement opportunities.
